Jewelry Boxes: Organizing Tips
Every woman treats her jewelry box as a private treasure trove. Precious items painstakingly collected over the years will find a place in this box. Each item has a story of its own and this adds to the sentimental value of jewelry boxes.
Such pieces of jewelry are undoubtedly gorgeous and deserve to be stored in beautiful boxes. One of the first few steps to cleaning your box is to remove all the clutter that has accumulated in it. We tend to collect a lot of pieces of jewelry over time that may be broken, have lost a pair or simply don't appeal to us anymore.
With the clutter out of the way, you can now prepare to clean the box. Jewelry boxes are commonly made of wood and come with soft lining on the inside made of velvet or some such material. Take out all the pieces of jewelry you have and make sure that you keep them in a safe purse or container or you run the chance losing the pieces from your bed or table.
When you take out your jewelry from the box remember to place them apart from one another to prevent them from getting all tangled up. When you place delicate jewelry along with those that have rough edges you run the risk of tarnishing them.
Turn over the empty box and shake loose any dirt and dust that readily comes off. With the clutter out of the way, you can now prepare to clean the box. Jewelry boxes are commonly made of wood and come with soft lining on the inside made of velvet or some such material.

When you are done wiping the dust away, use a damp cloth over the interiors to get rid of stubborn dirt patches or tape to pick off the lint. The box has to be completely dry before you rub it down with a clean cloth once again.
If your box has a mirror, use a regular glass cleaning solution and a cloth to get it sparkling again. With that out of the way you can now replace your pieces of jewelry.
No point in placing dusty jewelry back in a clean box. So the next step is to clean the pieces of jewelry.
Cleaning your jewelry box and organizing your trinkets neatly doesn't take much time. Your box will always be ready for you to show off with no nagging worries about a mess. Like a mobile home, the original style diner is narrow and elongated to allow roadway transport (in the case of a diner, to the restaurant's ultimate location).
