Wizards And Witches Vs . Vampires And Werewolves -- Who Won At The 2011 MTV Movie Awards?

The City of Angels in California has served as an important location for the 2011 MTV Movie Awards last June 5, 2011. The show was hosted by Saturday Night Live (SNL) comedian Jason Sudeikis. It was filled with brilliant and astonishing celebs from the world of films and music as well. Some of the presenters include Ryan Reynolds, Blake Lively, Ashton Kutcher, Chris Evans, and Elle Fanning.

Wizards and witches of Harry Potter were seemed to be down and outperformed by the vampires and werewolves as Twilight brought home five golden popcorns including the Best Movie award. Danielle Radcliffe and Emma Watson of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1 laid low as Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart took home the Best Male Performance and Best Female Performance for The Twilight Saga: Eclipse, respectively. Not so bad at all for all Harry Potter fans out there as your favorite Death Eater Draco Malfoy (of course he was portrayed by Tom Felton) took home the Best Villain award.

The most surprising moment in this award ceremony was probably when Taylor Lautner, the hunky werewolf Jacob Black, received a kiss from Robert Pattinson, the scorching vampy Edward Cullen, when the latter and his leading leady Kristen Stewart won the Best Kiss award for their movie Twilight Saga: Eclipse. Were you surprised as well? No fret, Robert and Taylor aren't gay.

The official release of the first trailer for the film The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 1 was yet one of the highlights of the 2011 MTV Movie Awards. It was full of exciting scenes including the anticipated marriage of the Edward Cullen and Bella Swan. Thanks a bunch 2011 MTV Movie Awards for taking us to the first sneak peak of The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 1. I can't wait to see it on cinemas on November 18, 2011.
